IWV Soccer is the synergy of 2 popular Ridgecrest soccer clubs. After years of running separately, Ridgecrest Scorpions and Ridgecrest Phoenix combined forces to form the IWV Soccer Club.

IWV Soccer is the synergy of 2 popular Ridgecrest soccer clubs. After years of running separately, Ridgecrest Scorpions and Ridgecrest Phoenix combined forces to form the IWV Soccer Club.

The club is a club that comprises of varied levels of ability and age from competitive (travel teams) to introductory (Junior Academy) as a step up from pure recreational soccer. All teams are coached by professionally licensed coaches and are led by a Director of Coaching.

Our mission is to improve both boys and girls technically, physically, psychologically and socially to make better players on and off the field. Our players are encouraged to experiment in order to find their own style and to help learn from any mistakes made.

The club provides a centralized organization for teams and coaches, who are overseen by the Director of Coaching. This allows selection and review of coaches with respect to quality of coaching and team management; and to work towards cooperation and movement of players between teams in the appropriate age group. This website provides additional information about the club. 

IWV Soccer is a youth soccer club that includes players from Ridgecrest, Inyokern, Trona, and the surrounding communities.

We welcome interested players! Please contact the appropriate age coach or email our Director of Coaching with any questions about the club.

The club infrastructure is run almost exclusively by volunteers and so we need and welcome new volunteers. Previous experience is not required. Please contact us if you are interested in helping out in any way. Show less

On October 7, 2001, the President began the U.S. response in the War on Terrorism with the stroke of his pen to seize terrorists’ financial assets and disrupt their fundraising network. Unlike previous conflicts, this war is being fought on both domestic and foreign soil. The military response to the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States was assigned the name Operation Enduring Freedom.

Operation Family Fund is a private non-profit charitable organization sponsored by private donations. The organization was incorporated in the State of California and has it’s headquarters in Ridgecrest, California.

San Marcos High School is one of two comprehensive high schools in the San Marcos Unified School District located in North San Diego County. The music tradition at SMHS reaches back to the opening of the school in 1961 and began with a small winds program. Today, the music program encompasses four wind ensembles, three jazz bands, percussion ensembles, chamber ensembles, choir, the Axiom performance ensemble, digital music, 3 color guards, and the Knight Regiment marching band.

Having experienced phenomenal growth over the last decade, the San Marcos High School music program supports more than 300 students, making it one of the largest high school music programs in San Diego County. With a rich tradition of high accolades in every performance group, the SMHS Music Program takes pride in continually pressing forward by performing new compositions and stretching itself in new artistic directions. Keeping with that tradition, the SMHS program has developed a reputation for consistently delivering some of the most creative, innovative, and exciting field shows, winter guard shows, and concerts. Moreover, the Axiom Performance Ensemble has received wide acclaim and is truly an exceptional and one of a kind show.

Students from SMHS Music Program have performed both throughout the United States and internationally. The percussion ensemble has made five appearances at the Music for All National Festival in Indianapolis. In 2014, students traveled to Central Europe, the heart of music and culture, to perform in a variety of historic musical venues.
